Performances - Christmas Season 2016

To be announced

Performances - General Information

The Wakefield Chorale primarily sings for local retirement communities.

We present a one-hour Christmas program at four facilities on the Tuesday evenings leading up to Christmas.  And then we present a one-hour program of general music on four, consecutive Tuesday evenings in the spring.

Some of the communities where we perform include:

  • The Virginian (Fairfax, VA)
  • Greenspring Village (Springfield, VA)
  • Vinson Hall (McLean, VA)
  • Goodwin House (Alexandria, VA)
  • Lewinsville (McLean, VA)
  • Paul Spring (Alexandria, VA)

We do not wear formal costumes for performances.  Our director will announce how she'd like us to dress for concerts several weeks before the first performance.  (Recent example:  Men wear white shirt, dark tie, and black pants,  women wear white top and black skirt or black pants.)  This gives us a unified look for our concerts without requiring anyone to purchase specialty outfits.
